Job Description

Alloy is in search of a detail-oriented and driven Data Analyst that can help our team deliver visually compelling reports, analysis, and strategy recommendations to our client-partners. Our goal is to have data tell a story. We want someone who will take ownership of this role and not simply just “do as they're told” but be willing to champion improvements from process, technology, and communications. Working with our highly driven and multi-disciplined team will require you to communicate and work together to solve problems. You must be able to take complex concepts (often involved with data) and easily communicate them to our team and client-partners in a digestible way. Success will require a driven personality type who embodies a natural tendency to learn, analyze, and communicate.

What You Will Do

  • Design dashboards and data visualizations to communicate meaningful metrics for our client-partners
  • Provide data analysis to help mold client strategies
  • Insure data integrity
  • Integrate data from various platforms into Google Data Studio (if applicable)
  • Provide insight on how reporting process and system can be improved
  • Analyze data and provide insight from various platforms from SEO, SEM, website, and paid media platforms.
  • Translate recommended solutions into actionable tasks
  • Effectively apply our methodology and thoughtfully enforce standards
  • Utilize data, science, and analytics to drive reasoning behind the strategy
  • Create Tags, click trackers, events etc.. for data tracking (GTM, display tags, and other platforms)

Nice to haves:

  • 3+ years experience in Google Analytics (certificate not required but preferred)
  • 3+ years experience in Google Tag Manager (certificate not required but preferred)
  • 3+ years experience in the following Paid Media Platforms (mainly reporting):
  • Google Ads
  • Facebook Ads
  • Instagram Ads
  • Twitter Ads
  • Knowledge of report creation in Google Data Studio or similar data visualization tools
  • Understanding of data structures and flows
  • Solid technical background with an understanding of software development processes and web technologies
  • The ability to edit some code to adhere to technical best practices is a plus
  • 3+ years of analytics experience as a primary job function
