Alloy is in search of a detail-oriented and driven QA Lead that can help our team in providing the best possible software application experiences for our client-partners. The QA Lead role guides Alloy’s quality assurance discipline for our organization. This role is expected to estimate, develop, and execute tests and test plans for all types of software applications (web & mobile) . This is an opportunity to share your expertise with a wide range of client-partners in a broad spectrum of industries. Working as part of a highly-driven and talented multi-discipline team with a high profile client roster, the QA Lead will contribute to the future of our dynamic company. They will work closely with technical leads, developers, and engineers to continually test and improve the applications we build. Success will require a driven personality type who embodies a natural tendency to learn, analyze, and communicate.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Quality Assurance testing for Alloy and our client-partners
  • Formulate QA testing plans and strategies for Alloy developed solutions
  • Contribute to direction of QA standards, processes, and tools
  • Work with Alloy development team on automated testing
  • Serve as a stakeholder and key client communicator of QA strategies, plans, and tactics
  • Effectively apply our methodology and thoughtfully enforce standards
  • Innovate new opportunities for QA
  • Utilize project requirements to ensure a complete solution
  • Log defects in a manner that the developer can easily correct
  • Continually improve Alloy’s QA Process by keeping up to date with emerging technologies

Nice to haves:

  • Strong educational background, BA or BS preferred
  • Experience QA methodology and best practices
  • Solid technical background with an understanding of software development processes and web technologies
  • The ability to edit some code to assist in testing automation is a plus
  • 3+ years of QA experience as a primary job function
